The Perfect Ease of Grain

In honor of turning 30 today, I wanted to work on a project that was a little different and release it into the world. For those of you that are familiar with my work, you'll know that I'm a big fan of spoken word and powerful voices in narrative filmmaking.

Couple that with an interest in AI cinema and you have the potential for some pretty powerful results. I mixed some new knowledge of prompting and found ways to highlight the imagery from the late, great Toni Morrison. Her work from "Five Poems" (2002) is what inspired this piece to begin with and I had quite the time putting together images that would make sense with the words of the poem.

I found it to be a good challenge creatively but also as a producer when it comes to putting resources together, which makes for that much better of a final product. anyway, enough talking: here it is, enjoy!
